In 2019 FreshOne tripled its fleet, expanded its distribution service, tripled employee count, and opened a new distribution center in Dallas, Texas. The company also announced the advancement of Bill Ford as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Bill joined the company sixteen months ago and has become a leader in the promotion of the company and its new services. Bill attributes the rapid growth to, “providing unique customer service and support, treating our customers as if they are partners, and listening to them to understand how we can help them be more successful.”
Rapid growth brings new opportunities for new and existing employees. FreshOne has added two new leadership roles: Vice President of Operations and Director of Human Resources. Billy Stovall has joined the team as Vice President of Operations. He has previous experience as Director of Transportation at a large wholesale grocery warehouse for 22 years and then as President of Operations at a beverage distribution company for 4 years. Billy is from Amarillo, Texas. With his extensive experience in both Fresh Food Distribution and Warehouse management, he will be a great asset to FreshOne as he will oversee all logistics operations for the company.
With the double-digit growth in workforce, FreshOne desires to hire and retain the best people. In order to address this challenge, they have welcomed Simon Watson in the new role of Director of Human Resources. Simon was born in the United Kingdom and began his work life in business systems. Moving to the United States in 1994, he built his career by solving problems over a wide range of industries including telecom, airlines, retail, medical, and catering. Simon brings broad experience and has a passion for applying his analytical and organizational skills to building a highly motivated workforce to prepare the company for even greater growth in 2020.
